Light Tower Rentals, Inc. (LTR) was formed by John Avary and Ted Hogan in November of 1994 for the initial purpose of renting self-contained lighting equipment for use at oilfield job sites. By the end of 2007, the company had grown to over 80 employees in seven locations across Texas and New Mexico.

In January 2008, Clairvest Group Inc. (a Canadian merchant bank) and McKenna Gale Capital (a Canadian lender) provided the necessary capital to expand the company's operations to 15 locations across Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Pennsylvania and North Dakota.

LTR's current rental inventory now consists of generators, light towers, trailer packages, air compressors, pumps, drill pipe, downhole tools, frac tanks, flowback tanks, supervac tanks, mud tanks and trucking.

The company is continuing to expand its geographic reach and rental product line to meet the needs of its customers.
